Renewable energy

Installing renewable energy technology allows you to generate your own electricity or heat on site. This means that you can reduce your energy bills instead of buying it from an energy supplier.

We can provide advice, feasibility studies and project management to help your renewable energy system become reality.

At Beyond Green, we believe renewable energy is the way to go. With renewable energy technologies improving rapidly and becoming more affordable in recent years, many are now more viable options.

Installing renewable energy technology at your site can reduce your organisation’s emissions, reduce your reliance on energy suppliers (and the risks of rising energy prices) and can provide a great long term investment. Government incentives such as the Feed-in Tariff and the Renewable Heat Incentive can also provide valuable added income for your business.

We have a working knowledge of small and medium scale renewable energy systems including:

  • Solar PV (photovoltaics)
  • Biomass heat systems
  • Wind turbines
  • Solar thermal
  • Ground and air source heat pumps

We could help you with:

  • an initial assessment of your site to identify the most suitable technology
  • a more detailed feasibility study to show you the costs and benefits
  • full project management of a system from initial feasibility, through purchasing, supplier and installer assessments to final installation and turning on the power!

If this is all new to you, we can also explain the basics of these technologies so you understand which of them might be good for you.

Impartial advice

We don’t take commission from any installers or suppliers, so you can be sure that our advice is impartial and unbiased.

Our work so far:

In the last few years we have worked on over 80 small and medium scale renewable energy projects, advising businesses and providing guidance covering investments worth over £2.4m. The systems we have worked on have the total potential to reduce emissions by the equivalent of 1,300 tonnes of CO2.
