Project aims
Increase the confidence of Green Insurance Company’s (GIC) staff to deal with environmental/sustainability questions from their customers.
Our support
GIC specialises in eco-friendly insurance options. Beyond Green designed and facilitated a series of inspiring environmental awareness workshops and site visits for the company’s new recruits.
Impact
We facilitated sessions for over 200 employees, conducting site visits which brought the
material to life. Using an informal and informed approach, Paul engaged staff to explore
opportunities and challenges around energy, waste, water, transport and carbon offsetting.
Outcomes
GIC staff each pledged to reduce one of their personal impacts identified from their own home audit. Subsequent refresher workshops were delivered with computer based assessment used to record the team’s development.
